While Arsenal are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table, the club has been hit with a major blow after discovering that Theo Walcott will be out for at least six months. The injury follows Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Tottenham in The FA Cup over the weekend, and a scan reveals that the forward has unfortunately ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, which will also leave him out of the England squad during the World Cup finals in Brazil later this year. Having scored a number of key goals this season already, Arsène Wenger will hope that the team will push on from the news and continue their form.
