After splitting the first two openers at home against their repeat NBA Finals opposition Miami Heat, the San Antonio Spurs went to South Beach and shocked all, winning both road games in blowout fashion against the current champs. Prior to the 2014 Finals, the not too media savvy Tim Duncan proclaimed his team wouldn’t have another game 6 meltdown like the one we witnessed last year saying, “We’ll get it done this time.” He’s lived by those words, as his Spurs currently have a commanding 3-1 series lead with the possibility of closing things out tonight at home.

Duncan revealed the fact that peers often question how he’s been able to remain the league’s best forward in three different decades and even sensing jealousy.
