After initially taking over the role as manager back in December, Tottenham have decided to fire Tim Sherwood having finished sixth in the Premier League table. The deal was expected to run until the end of the 2014/15 season, but considering the amount of money spent by the London club last summer, Sherwood’s work didn’t fulfil expectations. Surprisingly enough, the now ex-manager had a win percentage of 59% in the top flight, which is the highest record in the club’s history and was enough to reach the Europa League next season.
