Who didn’t see this coming? ESPN has officially added wonder boy Tim Tebow to their roster, hiring him as an analyst for their SEC Network. In the official ESPN press release, he’s set to work the SEC pre-show and have other ESPN duties; which could mean a spot on the very popular College Gameday at some point.

His time at ESPN will coincidentally kick off during the pre-game of the BCS title game, which he won 2 times at while at Florida. Also, for all you NFL fans out there that still want Tebow on your roster, the press release reveals that this will not hinder him from continuing his NFL career (only his throwing motion does that).

Check out parts of the press release after the jump.

“I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity,” said Tebow. “When I was six years old I fell in love with the game of football, and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC.”
