Timofey Mozgov Posterizes Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah becomes a rare victim under the rim

Over the last few days, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in the headlines of internal issues on the team. After an under-the-radar 12 game winning streak recently, the team has dropped two of their last 4 games. With LeBron James taking to twitter early this week and calling out his teammate Kevin Love for not “fitting in,” attention soon gravitated to whether the two had any real issues.

LeBron initially downplayed the situation, but admitted it was indeed aimed at Love – not personally, just business. Tonight, the Cavs were on the road to close out the first half of the season against division rival, the Chicago Bulls. Kevin would miss the game due to an eye injury, as the Cavs would struggle against a Jimmy Butler-less Bulls team.

Derrick Rose had one of his better games of the year, scoring 30 points on 24 shots, while LeBron James led all scorers in the losing affair with 31. Cleveland would suffer a blowout loss, in their last game before the all-star break; but wouldn’t go down without a fight. In the middle of the first quarter, Timofey Mozgov would leave his imprint on the game in a simple pick and roll slash, posterizing lock-down paint defender, Joakim Noah.
