Tom Brady Throws First Touchdown of 2016 Season

We have waited five weeks to see Tom Brady slinging footballs on the field following that Deflategate suspension and the moment finally came. It’s probably a good thing he’s playing the Cleveland Browns to shake the rust out, and it didn’t take long for Tom to throw a touchdown.

Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman are already reaping the benefits of having the QB back, but it was Martellus Bennett who caught the first touchdown of Tom’s season. After some big throws and runs by James White and Edelman, it was a 7-yard dump off to the wide open tight end off a play action pass that put the points on the board.

How many more touchdowns will he throw, is the question. He’s already at two!

Brady finished passing for 406 yards on 28/40 and 3 touchdowns. They were all to Bennett too.

FINAL: NE 33 | CLE 13
