Jerry Jones & Dallas Cowboys Refusing To Rule Out Quarterback Tony Romo In NFC East Title Game On Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys owner-president-general manager and whatever title is left, Jerry Jones is in denial of his star quarterback missing the rest of the season. Yesterday, news reports surfaced from the team staff pertaining to Tony Romo suffering a herniated disk Sunday in their close victory against the Washington Redskins, as he would not be able to play in their NFC East winner-take-all battle against the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday.

Romo received an epidural injection earlier this morning, which doctors and trainers hope will reduce inflammation; but most of all relieve pain in his lower back and hips. It normally takes up to three days before doctors can determine if the injection was successful, which Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett hasn’t ruled out Romo along with Jerry Jones agreeing as well.

The herniated disc will require surgery in the off-season, but Dallas is in a win now mindset and might have to look to back-up quarterback Kyle Orton for their biggest game of the season. By the weekend, we should know where Tony Romo is at physically after the recent injections.
