Mile High Romo?
Days after officially conceding his starting role as quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys to rookie Dak Prescott, it looks like Tony Romo could be looking ahead to his football future. With the best record in the NFL, the Cowboys are on the verge of letting Dak keep the job, for good.
This is obviously a tough pill for Jerry Jones to swallow, considering he’s stuck with Romo for over 10 years since the infamous 2007 botch that cost them a bid at the NFC Championship.
NFL insider, Ian Rapoport revealed moments ago on social media that the Cowboys will be looking to trade Tony if everything stays in place – and will allow him to have input on where he goes.
It’s being reported that the defending Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos are his most likely destination, who lost Peyton Manning over the spring to retirement. Let us know in the comments if you think Romo would make a good fit in South Park, with Von Miller and company.
When #Cowboys look to trade Tony Romo this offseason, he’ll have significant say. I’m told he has eyes on the #Broncos as a potential spot.
