More Cowboys injuries

It might be too soon to call the season over for the Dallas Cowboys, but things have gotten harder for the team after losing Dez Bryant up to 12 weeks with a foot injury. Today, their star quarterback Tony Romo suffered a fractured left clavicle in the game against division rivals Philadelphia Eagles.

The play came in the third quarter when linebacker Jordan Hicks drove Romo into the ground on a sack and immediately grabbed for shoulder and was taken to the locker room.

The Pro-Bowl QB will under further tests tomorrow, but it may be a while until he sees a return to the field. Brandon Weeden will take over as the started in his absence.

UPDATE: Tony Romo has been placed in the Dallas Cowboys short-term injury reserved list, meaning he will be missing at least 8 weeks. His timetable for a return looks to be November 22, conservatively. Romo will not have surgery to fix his broken left collarbone.
