Are The 49ers A Legit Super Bowl Contender?
Statically, Tom Brady is viewed by many as the greatest quarterback of all time. Outside of losing two Super Bowl’s to the New York Giants in the last 7-years, he’s sadly been surrounded by a lack of efficient players that he has to be an asshole to and push.
With the addition of Darrelle Revis at corner-back, as well as the 4-game suspended Brandon Browner; the team will see one of their best defensive collectives this upcoming season in damn near five years.
New England has now finally moved past the Aaron Hernandez situation that hindered them most of last season, as they came up one game short of returning to the Super Bowl earlier this year. They find themselves once again in a horrific AFC East division surrounded by the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, who all look to finish under .500 football this season.
At the present time, many are viewing a repeat of the AFC Championship from last January, which featured the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, due to injury-plagued teams and more importantly, the lack of competition.
So are the Patriots just in the mix by default?
