The Milwaukee Brewers middle relief pitcher is 38 innings pitched into his long overdue rookie season. Blazek was selected in the 2007 draft by the St. Louis Cardinals. He has spent the better part of the last 7 years developing his craft in the minors. The first big league pitch from Blazek came in June of 2013 against the Texas Rangers, with 2k’s in an inning pitched. Later he went to the Brewers in hopes of being full time in the MLB; ultimately it took another season of minor league pitching. Present day 2015 Michael Blazek is firmly implanted in the Brewers organization. With a strikeout to walk ratio of 35 to 12 and a .94 whip, he is one of the few effective players apart of the Milwaukee Brewers.
