It would be only right to give you a team who hasn’t lived up to the hype. There isn’t a person in the world that would have guessed the Duke Blue Devils would be ranked 24. On their way to not being ranked after the loss Monday to Miami. After signing 3 five stars and a potential player of the year, Grayson Allen, still Duke has hit a rough patch. Duke is 2-5 against the top 50, 4 losses coming at home, Coach K has some work to do. If there is anyone who can turn it around it is the great coach, so no need to panic just yet.
Grayson Allen and Brandon Ingram have been holding things together for the Blue Devils. Both shooting 50% are averaging 17+ points, along with logging 30 minutes per game. Sporting a 15-6 record with the toughest part of the ACC left to play, both North Carolina and Louisville twice. Duke looks to finish the season strong and go into the Tournament on a hot streak.
