We’re not sure whether Tracy McGrady will be in the talks of the greatest of all time due to his shorted career plagued by injuries. He’s obviously a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer in our eyes with back-to-back NBA scoring titles, a career average of 20 points a game (down his last 5 seasons) and 7 all-star appearances among others. Kobe Bryant recently revealed in an interview, that McGrady was his toughest opponent ever to meet throughout his entire career. Tracy’s one of the only likeable players from the majority of the ballers past and present, but felt he needed to return back to his elite level of play.
Before playing for 5 different teams in his last 4 seasons, McGrady revealed in a recent episode of NBA’s open court he contemplated using performance enhancement drugs (or steroids). He was averaging nearly 25 points a game and was at the top of sport, but after chronic issues knee that led to a micro-fracture surgery (on top of a bad back), the 6’9 forward would soon lose mostly all of his athleticism.
