At the tender age of only 34, Tracy McGrady has officially announced his retirement from the NBA. In 2013, he opted to not play during the regular season and joined the San Antonio Spurs with aspirations of winning a title. Those dream’s obvious wouldn’t occur, but T-Mac has career stats of nearly 20 points averaged throughout his 16-year career and 5 rebounds, 4 assist as well.

McGrady also averaged 32 points in the 2003 season winning back-to-back scoring titles spanning to 2004. His career would have some setbacks starting in 2005 with a “freak” accident during a team practice for the Houston Rockets landing awkwardly on his back, which would cause a spree of back spasms for the shooting guard.

His numbers would continue to dwindle throughout the years before the superstar would become a limited role-player. Earlier today on ESPN’s First Take, Tracy made the announcement but left the door open to play overseas.

After the jump, we’ve included a clip for some his career highlights that you can enjoy.
