Tracy McGrady Says NBA is Watered Down after Steph Curry Unanimous MVP

T-Mac calls out the NBA voters

Yesterday, Stephen Curry became the first player in NBA history to unanimously win MVP honors, for the 2016 season; and it ruffled the feathers of fans, critics and even former players. One person who spoke up about the voting process, was former league superstar, Tracy McGrady, who went to say the greatest shooter of all-time deserved the accomplishment.

However, he went to touch on how icons Michael Jordan or Shaquille O’Neal didn’t receive one hundred percent of ballots in their careers and felt that nobody should ever get unanimous if those two (and even legends before them) never received the achievement.

Watch more from the interview above, including why he thinks the league has become watered down and let us know in the comments below if you agree with T-Mac.

UPDATE: McGrady defends his comments about the league being watered down after Charles Barkley echoed his sentiment.
