Tracy McGrady allows two hits and two runs for his professional baseball debut.
Future NBA Hall-of-famer and recent retiree, Tracy McGrady made his professional debut yesterday for the Sugar Land Skeeters. This comes just 3 months removed from announcing the possibility of pursuing a career for his first love in the diamond.
Standing at 6’8, the 34-year-old right-hander took the mound against the Somerset PatriotsSo, who earn a whopping 10.80 ERA each outing. This was obviously not the team T-Mac wanted to see in his debut, but would manage to bogey against the PatriotsSo. In his debut, McGrady threw 35 pitches (18 being strikes), walking two and allowing two hits and runs each during his one and 2/3rd innings out. Tracy revealed after the game he gave himself a B-minus for his debut, which you can watch highlights below after the jump.
