What a game
Who would have though the San Antonio Spurs would lose back to back overtime games? Not only that but both of them went deep into OT, all the way to to triple overtime to be exact. It was another nail-biter as the Portland Trail Blazers took home the 129-119 win, thanks to the efforts of Damian Lillard.
The boy had a career night, leading all scorers with 43 points and 6 assists. Fellow ‘Blazer LaMarcus Aldridge also had a double-double to add, 32 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
On the other side of the ball, Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 32 points and 10 rebounds of his own, while Danny Green hit some clutch 3’s and ended the game with 27 points and 10 rebounds.
The man of the night was Lillard, who scored a career high and hit the go-ahead layup to take the game into overtime. In OT, he spazzed out, scoring 16 points after regulation, to give Portland the win on the road in a tough game in San Antonio against the veteran squad. Damian pretty much the team on his back and carried them to victory.
