Trey Burke Delivers Game-Winning Buzzer Beater To Stun NY Knicks

Turn around 3-pointer

Every sign was pointing towards a come from behind win for the New York Knicks, thanks to an amazing effort by Carmelo Anthony during the stretch of the 4th quarter, but that’s not how things ended at Madison Square Garden on Friday night. On the back of Gordon Hayward, who scored 33 points on the night, the Utah Jazz held on for victory, sealing it with a game winner by Trey Burke with only 2.3 seconds in the game.

‘Melo rallied the Knicks and banked a 3-pointer from deep and with a hand in his face to tie the score at 100 and give the Knicks a sign of hope that they could take it into overtime. Unfortunately, a step back jumper from the corner went in for Burke, giving the Jazz the 102-100 victory and extending that 7-game losing streak for #KNICKSTAPE.

This comes a week after Hayward did the same thing to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the buzzer. Ouch.
