Last night, the sports world witnessed possibly one of the greatest games of all-time. Alabama and Auburn battled in an all out war, with an ending that even the best Hollywood screenwriters could script better. Alabama’s story is well known. They were looking for a 3rd straight BCS title and complete their dynasty run. AJ McCarron’s mission, however, was to ensure his Heisman moment, the highest honor in college football. While Nick Saban was trying to go down as possibly the best coach of all-time in the sport, Auburn had other ideas and succeeded in ruining the legacy.
By now most of you have probably seen the play that ended the game. Chris Davis in now in college football lore for eternity after his 109 yard return, following a missed Alabama field goal.
