The presidential election is drawing more and more near, and that means we’ve been getting a pretty hefty dose of the Barack Obama‘s potential successors all over news channels and headlines. Unfortunately for us, Donald Trump is running for president, meaning we get him shoved down our throats by the media at every turn.
Now, there’s obviously a lot of (not-so-favorable) words to describe him, but what about Philadelphia Phillie? Believe it or not, that was once almost the case.
A former high school baseball star, Trump was catching the eye of scouts once upon a time. A former teacher of his from back in the day told Rolling Stone that he was getting scouted by both the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox, which obviously would’ve changed the course of history a bit. I mean, imagine a world without Donald Trump and all the altruistic things he’s done!
Haha, yeah right. His apparent reasoning for ditching the MLB and pursuing college was so he could make “real money.”

It’s a pretty crazy scenario to consider, and definitely would’ve relieved a good handful of liberals that’re cringing at the fact he may be our next POTUS.
