Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool)
Surprisingly enough, Sturridge took a rocky start to his career as a professional footballer. Having played for the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Bolton, the player was never really provided with a chance to show his worth on a weekly basis. After signing for Liverpool last year, the Birmingham-born striker hasn’t looked back since. In his partnership with Suarez, Sturridge now has seven assists and 20 goals, and looks to be a major part of the England side during the World Cup.
