Who’s Playing Better Baseball?
Since July 1st, the Baltimore Orioles have played the best baseball with a 53-27 record and lead the league with the most homers in 2014. Following their 3-0 sweep of the Detroit Tigers, Baltimore sent a message to the entire MLB, by completely dominating of one of the most respectable batting lineups in all of baseball.
Led by hitters Nelson Cruz, Adam Jones and Chris Davis among others, the Orioles have one of the scariest line-ups any team wants to see, offensively or defensively.
Kansas City may have one of the best power games at the moment (led by Mike Moustakas and Eric Hosmer), but the rotation adjustments Buck Showalter and Dave Wallace have put together since the all-star break have been second to none.
