It only took the sacrifice of CM Punk’s dream last year, but Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are taking the right steps to rebuild the WWE brand with the launch of NXT TV series in 2014.
With various superstars nearing the end of the year, including John Cena, the McMahon- Levesque tandem has taken an aggressive approach with acquisitions of Cesaro, Tyler Black, Kenta, Samoa Joe, Prince Devitt, James Storm, and Kevin Owens. Above, WWE Network premieres the first episode of their new series, Breaking Ground, which focuses on the lives both male and female wrestlers endure when trying to make the biggest stage in professional wrestling.
Unlike the 60-minutes episode you may remember from over the spring, this series is more recent, which you may notice a few faces from last season’s Tough Enough making a cameo as well.
