After three years, Paul Rodriguez strikes gold at the X Games once again.
Paul “P-Rod” Rodriguez captured his fourth Skateboard Street gold medal on Sunday after edging out last year’s winner, 17 year old Nyjah Huston and three-time gold medalist Ryan Sheckler. This marks Rodriguez first X Games gold since 2009 and was previously a back-to-back gold medal winner in 2004 and 2005. P-Rod’s run was highlighted by switch kick-flip front-side board-slide, a switch front-side blunt-slide and a switch 360 flip down a stair set.
