If there is any team in Major League Baseball that can recreate a scene from a classic movie involving Babe Ruth, it would have to be the New York Yankees. That’s exactly what happened when a few guys from the squad reenacted The Sandlot scene dedicated to the Great Bambino. Brett Gardner played the part of Scotty Smalls, who got ripped a new one by his teammates for using the baseball to play outside like it wasn’t even signed by the legendary player.
