5 Things We Need on “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater” Next-Gen

Have An Arcade Mode

We know we just contradicted ourselves, we don’t need that now. As much as we would love the game to truly be upgraded to simulation like Electronic Arts changed the game in 2007 with SKATE, THPS will forever be an arcade title at heart. We love the realism that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is set to include later this year (or next) but for quick on-the-go sessions whenever we have a few minutes to burn or waiting on our significant others to finish a make-up session, this would be nice to have on deck. Being fans of the original series, there’s still some love and need to have an arcade mode but not an entire game of non-realistic affairs.

This would work for all fans of the series so nobody is left disgruntled on either side, but whether the developer is willing to invest the time in providing this major element of the game remains to be seen. They have had 8 years to properly think of ways and plans to make the game appealing to this generation of gaming.
