5 Things You Must Know About the Xbox One X

Switch to Performance Mode

As much as it’s insane to look at environment and details on 4K gaming, it’s pretty pointless if the titles themselves don’t run in 60-frames-per-second. This is what we’ve been complaining about for 10-years in gaming and Microsoft may have finally got on board with PC titles this fall.

In settings, you can switch to performance mode, from 4K HDR and it will lose a slight sharpness from the new resolution. However, you’ll gain nearly double the framerate speed for better experience (sports and shooters make a difference); while still keeping in-tact lighting and textures.

It’ll be a noticeable difference, in comparison to the visual graphics mode, which offers jaw-dropping dynamic lighting in HDR. However, switching to performance mode in games that don’t provide standard 60fps at the moment is a must. If you can’t afford a HDR set and just have traditional UHD 4K, then this mode is worth the console alone.
