Are you interested in a call of duty film series?
On the heels of their recently released Call of Duty: Black Ops III video game, Activision Blizzard has finally made the previously inevitable dream, a reality. The third party giant has officially launched a new studio to create movies and television shows, with the Call of Duty brand and hopes to jumpstart new franchises and a cinematic universe. The first project from the newly announced Activision Blizzard Studios, will be a TV series based on the Disney video game, Skylaners.
Since 2011, the 3D-animated series has generated over $3 billion in revenue and will like dictate the fate of whether or not the company moves forward with multiple projects at once. However, Activision assured the first ever Call of Duty movie will be released in either 2018 or 2019, which could be set in the timespans of World War II, present day or the future.
