The 17-minute video start off with four soldiers trapped underwater in a military hummer, with one sacrificing himself to send the other 3 off to survive and swim back to land. We then transition to what transpired nearly 14-minutes before they were in that predicament, almost facing death. The soldiers are in an abandoned building, making their way to a safe house, all meeting up in the process. The team gets news of hostiles headed their way and all hell breaks loose, to say the least.
They now hold ground until a military helicopter forces them out of the building to flee to safer ground, and we see a mixture of infantry and vehicle combat of the soldiers trying to survive in Baku, Azerbaijan. Now control shifts to the main character Recker, and you must lead the squad to a factory roof, before they run into another military helicopter. The jaw dropping visuals and heart pumping action leaves you wanting more in the process.
PC games on EA’s origin will get special perks once again this year, with an exclusive “Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe” receiving a premium expansion pack, base game and bonus in-game digital items along with first rights access to the multiplayer beta coming later this summer. BF4 hasn’t been confirmed or denied for next-generation Sony or Microsoft consoles, so we’ll have to wait until e3 in June to get news on the game.
Battlefield is available for pre-order right now.
