We’re only five weeks away from the year’s biggest and potentially best shooter this year, Call of Duty: Ghosts. Activision’s next installment in their first person shooter franchise will try to outdo the $500M Black Ops 2 did on it’s first day, which became the highest grossing opening day for a video game ever. That was until two weeks ago when Grand Theft Auto V released and smashed the record selling over $600M in day one, then passing $1 billion before the weeks end. While Ghosts has more pre-orders than GTAV before it released, passing $1 billion in its first week with new consoles set to release a few days later seems very unlikely. Activision releases their next trailer for the game dubbed “Ghosts Squads” which the new modes are detailed as the latest innovation to Call of Duty.
