In a close race with Cam Newton, Calvin “Megatron” Johnson was voted by fans Wednesday for this years cover rights to NFL Madden. Megatron is coming fresh off his Legendary-like season, as he had a league’s best 1,681 yards and 16 touchdowns. Hopefully that play continues next season and he avoids the infamous Madden Curse.

2004 – Michael Vick broke his fibula in pre-season game.
2005 – Ray Lewis injured wrist in week 15 and first season without an interception.
2006 – Donovan McNabb suffered a sports hernia and tore his ACL and meniscus.
2007 – Shaun Alexander sustained a foot injury missing 6 starts.
2008 – Vince Young inured his quad.
2009 – Brett Favre suffered an ankle injury.
2010 – Troy Polamalu sprained MCL; Larry Fitzgerald injured rib.
2011 – Drew Brees QB rating dropped 20 points due to playing with a torn MCL.
2012 – Peyton Hillis suffered a hamstring injury.
