Say HALO to Bungie’s upcoming AAA-title, Destiny!
Activision and Bungie Software are planning to create an all new immerse first-person shooter, we’re still learning more about every press release by the name of Destiny. With the September 9th release date locked, gamers will be able to get their hands on the multiplayer mode this June at e3 and Los Angeles; as well as the upcoming public beta that will provide a huge slice of content to intrigue players to purchase day one. Many are viewing this game as a upgraded open world Borderlands knock-off (with obvious familiarities to the Halo universe), but Destiny’s looking to set itself apart with new innovations to the fps genre.
It’s been nearly 6 months since we’ve seen the game in action, but today Bungie shares an all-new 7 minute gameplay showcase, featuring the co-operative mission House of Devils’ Lair; which we think may be the GOLD-ready final build for this fall. Along with the clip, we’re also taken the Bungie studios, which PlayStation got a chance to sit down with the developers and explain how the post-apocalyptic everlasting world evolves even when you’re not playing (MMO-additions). Check after the jump for a preview at being an official Guardians of the City in the coming months on all Sony and Microsoft platforms.
