Gears of War comes to Xbox One this summer!
One of the worst secrets this generation of gaming has been the long-awaited Gears of War remaster for Xbox One. With users leaking footage and details of the multiplayer-driven franchise, Microsoft wanted to ignore any questions regarding the project until yesterday’s E3 Conference in Los Angeles.
After revealing plans of a next-generation Gears of War 4 for holiday 2016, Microsoft announced plans for to releases their Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. With the beta released soon after the conference, game developer The Coalition has finally revealed pricing and the official release date.
For $40 USD, gamers will be able to purchase the collection this August 25th on digital or retail for Xbox One – also includes a token to the Gears of War 4 beta for next summer. Take a look at the full breakdown for the game below, including comparison screens of original and remastered maps.
