Last week, Major Nelson got an insider’s look at the newly designed Xbox One controller showing off the technology we’ll be seeing in a few months from now. In the clip above, Team Xbox’s Graeme Boyd discusses how that technology makes the Xbox One controller more superior than its predecessor 360 model with product designer, Quintin Morris.
Three keys are explained throughout the video including precision, comfort and realism, which Morris breaks down the controller (literally) to show off the newly added features. From impulse triggering, magnetic trigger censoring, improved thumb sticks and pivot point for the d-pad, we’re shown a complete breakdown for everything gamers can expect in the “40 improvements” from the Xbox 360 model.
