Mass Shooting at ‘Madden 19’ Tournament Ends with Multiple Deaths after Gamer Loses

This afternoon, a video game tournament in Jacksonville was being held for the recently released EA Sports title, Madden 19. The event was being livestreamed on TwitchTV and captured an unfortunate live shooting. The incident, which caused casualties to four people, occurred when a gamer who was competing in the tournament got mad and lost. According to eye witnesses on hand, he targeted to kill at least four people and shot a total of 10 – before ending his own life.

Tournament gamer, Steven “Steveyj” Javaruski, spoke with law enforcers at the incident saying, “The shooter targeted a few people and shot at least five victims before killing himself. The gunman killed two or three people that I saw. This is the worst day of my life.”
