a new Hideo Kojima IP?
One of the nastiest divorces in the history of video games, has been Hideo Kojima and Konami over the past year. Konami even prevented Kojima from attending The Game Awards earlier this month, which he was blocked at the front door from entering the event.
With both sides officially split, Kojima has wasted no time to officially announce plans to upstart a new developing studio. According to Nikkei, he’ll be able to remain a number of former staff members from Konami’s Kojima Productions staff.
At the moment, Kojima is already in talks with Sony to develop for PlayStation platforms, which we’re expecting an imminent new IP to be unveiled at some point in the next 12 months.
