Sony still seems hesitant. . .
After revealing the Scorpio version of their Xbox One X system, Microsoft had more news to share with the public. In an interview with GameReactor, head of market at Xbox, Aaron Greenberg shared more details on Microsoft looking to set-up cross-platform online play with Sony in the future.
He went to say, “We’re talking to Sony about cross play, we do partner with them on Minecraft and of course we would like to enable them to be part of that. One community, to unite gamers. So, we’re talking to them and we’re hopeful that they’ll be supportive of it.”
With Sony’s lack of direction in the online department and Microsoft not being able to ensure consumers have no issues with hardware, we really wish they would combine both video game divisions. While that’s highly doubtful for the near future, take a look at the brief interview below.
