It’s been a very active week in news for NBA 2K13 as we’ve already been previewed with the 2013 All-Star Weekend Trailer as well as the “Dynasty Edition“, but today we’re introduced to some of the legends we’ll be seeing in the upcoming game.
Allen Iverson (or Mr. 2K) will be making his return to the series in prime fashion with the 2001 supporting 76ers cast we so dearly loved back in the day (:-/). Also announced was the return of the 1996 Chicago Bulls and Seattle Super Sonics as well as the return of the Orlando Magic Shaquille O’Neal pictured below with Patrick Ewing of the Knicks in the background.
Remember the announcement of the 1992 Dream Team a few weeks back that didn’t include no. 8? Well now Scottie Pippen has been cleared to be featured in the game to complete the original Dream Team roster.
So what next right? Well the only thing missing from the game is the second greatest 3 point shooter all-time who we see weekly commentating games for the NBA on TNT. Having Reggie Miller on the game joining Allen Iverson and Charles Barkley (who we’ve been waiting on FOREVER) in their return to the series would just put the icing on the cake for this nearly perfect basketball game we tested back at e3 last June. Whether that happens or not will not affect our love for the game, but hopefully the 2K team has that in the works.
Keep checking back for news as we anticipate the imminent demo before the game hits shelves October 2nd.
