‘NBA 2K21’ PS5, Xbox Series X first information leaked, in rare game preview interview. With just a few weeks left until the current-gen Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of NBA 2K21 release, there’s still major questions lingering. Outside of gameplay, which we expect to be horrible, just every other year; we’re still out of the loop on MyCareer.

Many community members are still in the dark, on whether or not they’ll be able to transfer MyCareer builds from current-gen to next-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. This will likely make or break this year’s release, because the developers have many in belief that you won’t be able to.

In a conversation on 2KTV, Mike Wang, face of NBA 2K, revealed information on the upcoming title. He went to breakdown, how the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions are being developed by an entirely different studio. However, he went to confirm, NBA 2K21 will feel completely different than PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version – which is the biggest eye-raiser of the situation.

This is rare for them to share information on gameplay, before we see in-game footage and new features. This is good news, if you’re not buying the Xbox One and PS4 cuts. If you’re unable to afford the new systems this year, we wouldn’t recommend you buying either version – because from the looks of it, it’ll be the same game as 2K20 with an updated roster.

2K Sports, even went as far as to say, that the PARK on next-gen will also have an entirely different experience. We’re mainly concerned about MyPlayer Builder, which has been rumored to allow custom pie charts. This would be a game changer on the defensive end, allowing for the return of real basketball.

Those spam dribblers and behind-the-back users, would be in real trouble if this happened. Agent-00, who is big in the 2K YouTube community, was featured in the conversation with Mike Wang. He seemingly told them (in the nicest way possible) that the game was and has been trash for many years, which we agree.

If it wasn’t for our friends on Xbox Live, we would strictly be on Madden and MLB the Show for our sports fix. Take a look at content below.

NBA 2K21 is an upcoming basketball simulation video game that will be developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, based on the National Basketball Association. It will be the 22nd installment in the NBA 2K franchise and the successor to NBA 2K20.
