While NBA 2K14 has been the highest selling and rated basketball simulation video game for the past 4 seasons, Electronic Arts is looking to regain their throne. NBA 2K14 has seen little to no improvement over the past few seasons (fuck out of here with that shitty new control layout) due to the lack of competition on the virtual hardwood, but NBA LIVE 14 will be hitting next-generation Sony And Microsoft consoles in a few weeks.
Today, we have a new sneak peak at the upcoming gameplay reveal, featuring the Los Angeles Lakers at the Portland Trailblazers. Steve Nash is shown doing his signature pick-n-roll plays (now with Pau Gasol since D’Antoni actually has to play him) leading to a floating tear drop score. This Friday will be the full 5v5 gameplay reveal for Xbox One and PlayStation; but for now, check after the jump for a taste of what to expect.
