While NBA 2K has been dominating the hardwood solo for nearly 5 years, NBA Live is ready to step back into the gaming realm under the bright lights with a release of the long-awaited return of the series. Last week, Take-Two announced LeBron James as the cover guy for their upcoming NBA 2K14. While the announcement hasn’t been official, Kyrie Irving will presumably be gracing the cover for NBA Live 14. The game will not be released for current-gen owners, as the EA Team will be using their all “IGNITE” engine to bring the game back to its promise days on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
One of the new features for the upcoming game will be “BounceTek” for dribbling which players will have their hands separating in each dribble to allow unlimited creativity and expression on the court. Live 14 will also have “CourtQ” which will provide 70 unique statistics from all 30 teams across the league every night keep the most up to date and realistic stats.
