In collaboration with Touchstone Pictures and DreamWorks Studios, Electronic Arts has a big blockbuster release of an official Need for Speed movie featuring Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul and Kid Cudi. Before we get the film, EA is building its movie campaign with the next installment in the series “Rivals” to coincide with the movie.
Need for Speed: Rivals hasn’t been on our radar due to other racers releasing this year in the likes of Forza Motosport 5, Gran Turismo 6 and #DRIVECLUB . With those games being dedicated strictly for racing simulators, we’re likely going to get our fast-paced arcade fix with Rivals whenever gaming gets dry. In the trailer above dubbed “Progression & Pursuit,” we’re shown PC gameplay footage of all the wild action in the NFS universe that should be a close reflection of next-gen. Look for the game to release November on PC as well as all Sony and Microsoft current and next-generation systems.
