Earlier today, Nintendo President and CEO Satoru Iwata held the final company direct conference for 2013. Following their cancellation appearance at e3 last June to avoid the Microsoft and Sony console announcements, fans of the “BIG N” have been looking forward to every Nintendo Direct and see why the Nintendo Wii U was a justifiable purchase last year.
Highlights of the conference included an all new Legend of Zelda hack-and-slash action game titled Hyrule Warriors, which will be a direct spin-off of Dynasty Warriors. Nintendo 3DS plat-former, Yoshi’s New Island was also shown in the half hour presentation, as we can expect it to arrive next spring. Role-playing video game by Square Enix, Bravely Default received news of a side-story on arriving January 2nd in the eShop that will not be found within the core game.
