Zelda x Mario x Pokémon
As gamers wait for a formal reveal of the NX, reports have surfaced that Nintendo is looking to launch their next-gen handheld system with some major games. The likes of Zelda, Mario and Pokémon are set to hit the device within its first six months of hitting retailers – as Square Enix, Ubisoft, Sega, Activision and Warner Bros. will offer third party support.
Although the NX is believed to be tapping into the market of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Nintendo is essentially competing with smartphone users. The NX will serve as a high-end upgrade to mobile gaming, which the handheld unit was confirmed that it’ll connectivity to HDTV’s.
The type of games for the three previously mentioned games will likely be revealed before the end of the year – as we’re expecting the Big N to capitalize off the success of their Pokémon app.
