Xbox One future owners, when you buy the new console next month in November Dead Rising 3 is an automatic buy being the Killer-App game on consoles this year. In past years, we’ve always seen the Dead Rising series overlooked by gamers, but Microsoft’s exclusive survival horror game developed by Capcom Vancouver will be arguably the first game that welcomes us into the next gen.
When you boot up DR3, the story takes place 10 years later after events of Fortune City in Dead Rising 2. You follow a young mechanic named Nick Ramos which he’ll be attempting to survives a massing zombie outbreak in Los Perdidos (or Santos) California, as one of the cities only survivors. The thing that we really like about this game is not only its intense zombie killer action, but the environments to correlate with its fast-paced gameplay. When you see over a 100 zombies at once, what’s impressive in our opinion is that no enemy will be the same making it one of the most realistic open world experiences in video games ever. Not to mention you can now make a weapon out of virtually anything.
