The 2013 OnSMASH Holiday Gaming Buyers Guide

Call of Duty: Ghosts
Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One
Release: November 5, 2013

If you buy Call of Duty Ghosts to receive a free copy of Eminem’s upcoming new album “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” isn’t that enough not to care if the game has become stagnant and repetitive over years? Well not exactly, but that doesn’t mean Infinity Ward hasn’t camouflaged the game with all new features, guns and obvious upgraded visuals to give you incentive to make the purchase.

Every year, we know Call of Duty is the Madden of first-person shooters, but we don’t know of any online experience that brings better fast-paced action to keep your adrenaline high. Much like the Battlefield series, Ghosts will now have destructible areas on maps being the first in the series to add a new dynamic for the already visually jaw-dropping title. Along with dual render technology for sniper rifles, we’re sold sadly on the game bringing one the more enjoyable experiences every holiday season.
