The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Platforms: Wii U
Release: October 4, 2013
The Nintendo Wii U released in 2012 and still has a very limited library in games, but more importantly sales. The original Nintendo Wii became the highest selling console of all time with its cheap price tag, but the company moving into the lane of Sony and Microsfot wanting to capture the “hardcore” audience has hindered the Wii-U significantly. They’ve virtually finished last place before PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases next month. Those of you who still own Wii-U’s can look for the first game since New Super Mario Bros. U on the console that is a must-buy. Now with the upcoming physical release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Nintendo gamers will have a new title in their rotation not already seen on the virtual console only.
Over 10 years ago, the original Wind Walker released on GameCube becoming one of our favorite games not only in the franchise, but ever. Now with Nintendo finally in the HD leagues (it is 2013 isn’t it?), we’ll have an all new HD experience to expand the original version with heavy gameplay features and modifications. The updated graphics now in 1080p and the Nintendo Gamepad for a rich experience, makes the game another must have title this holiday in your gaming rotations.
