We battled with the thought of copping Playstation 4 or not all week, and it all reared it’s ugly head last night, when our compulsive shopping habits kicked in during crunch time and we set out to make the midnight mission to cop PlayStation 4. After seeing the red ring of death plague our XBOX 360 not too long ago, it was either redeem our pre-order like real G’s or go dry with videos games until Spring of 2014.
We didn’t need to drown in that holiday struggle.
Hitting Wal-Mart at about 11:45, there was already a small line for those wanting to purchase the next-generation console (and even bigger one at Gamestop, up the street) without a pre-order. Luckily for us, our pre-order had been chilling in the cut for about a month and a half and we were guaranteed a system at launch.
We waited in line for about 30 seconds before someone asked if we had a pre-order, in which time they instructed us to go to a separate line with absolutely nobody there.

With no wait, we walked up to the counter and the box was already waiting for us, ready to be taken, like a drunk broad in your bed after making out at the club all night. The process didn’t even take but a mere 15 minutes, before we were walking out of that bitch with PS4 and Killzone: Shadow Fall in hand (they didn’t have NBA 2K14!?) with no police escort or security, in case someone tried to stab us in the parking lot.
