‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Online Beta Launch Information Revealed

‘Red Dead Online’ coming soon!

In just a little over a month, Red Dead Redemption 2 will officially be releasing to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Before gamers revisit the Dutch Van der Linde gang chronicles, information is finally emerging for the open-world title. Rockstar Games confirmed that the title will offer the option of third (preferred) or first-person perspective for its single-player campaign.

Unfortunately, the title isn’t launching with online multiplayer, as an open beta will launch sometime in November. Due to the game having an insane map size, they didn’t want to launch with an unfinished product, thus would lead to likely bad reviews for sales.

Titled, Red Dead Online, Rockstar Games issued a statement saying, “With most online experiences of this size and scale, there will inevitably be some turbulence at launch. We look forward to working with our amazing and dedicated community to share ideas, help us fix teething problems and work with us to develop Red Dead Online into something really fun and innovative.”

So, expect many complaints in the RDO, which will hopefully be addressed when the full version of the expansion releases. We’re hoping it’ll emerge before the fiscal year is over with in March. Let us know in the comments if you’re coping on October 26th.
