Last month, Capcom finally ended rumors of a potential Resident Evil remake of the infamous GameCube exclusive from 2002. The official Resident Evil HD trailer soon wow’d gamers, showcasing its GameCube spinoff truly remastered in 5.1 surround sound; but most of all, our next-generation 1080p visual enhancement.
Although we won’t be receiving the game until sometime next year on Sony and Microsoft consoles, as well as PC, Capcom ensures fans this will be one of the more standout installments in the longstanding horror series we’ve come across. With Resident Evil Revelations 2 also slated to impact consoles in 2015, there’s much to be excited from Hiroyuki Kobayashi and company before the imminent announcement of Resident Evil 7.
